World Energy Council Austria is the Austrian representation in the international Organisation of the World Energy Council based in London which has existed since 1923. The World Energy Council is the only uncommercial non governmental organisation which comprises all energy sources in their congresses which are take place every 3 years. With the participation of their own experts and other international organisations it creates strategies and regards for energy supply and energy policy for decision-makers. Currently the World Energy Council has national committees in over 90 countries from all over the world. The whole energy supply of these countries cover 95 % of the world energy demand.
