Visiting the Federal Chancellery with the Young Energy Professionals

This week, our YEPs had the opportunity to visit the Austrian Federal Chancellery and get a behind-the-scenes look at Austria’s top-level politics.

For the young professionals and future leaders in our YEP program, it was especially exciting to experience up close a place where key decisions for the energy sector are discussed and made.

Highlights included:

• Visiting the Austrian “Oval Office” (with a round table)
• Taking a seat at the Council of Ministers table
• A press photo in the press conference room

The dialogue between emerging talent and political decision-makers is essential for shaping Austria’s energy future in a sustainable and competitive way, and we are pleased to contribute to this through the YEP program.

After the visit, we rounded off the evening in a cozy atmosphere at the “Zum Leupold” inn. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved for the fascinating insights and the opportunity to take a look inside the rooms of such an important building of the Republic.
