Access to Energy, Mobility, and the Services of the Future
Save the date – on September 29, 2026, World Energy Council Austria invites you to the NextEnergy Forum, this time in the beautiful setting of Energie Steiermark on Leonhardgürtel in Graz.
Under the theme “NextAccess,” we address a question that could hardly be more timely: How is access to energy, mobility, and the services of the future changing in a world increasingly shaped by digitalisation, decarbonization, and new intelligent forms of urban living?
We look forward to top-tier experts from the energy industry, real estate, mobility, digitalisation, and infrastructure, who will jointly examine the following topics:
- Innovative energy hubs and neighbourhood solutions
- Resilient energy and data networks
- Sustainable mobility concepts
- Security, resilience, and data protection in a connected world
- Security of supply and the value creation of the future
The NextEnergy Forum 2026 builds on the successes of WEC Austria’s internationally recognised NextEnergy initiative. It creates a platform for exactly the kind of interdisciplinary exchange with which we want to advance the shaping of the energy transition. Our heartfelt thanks already go to all the distinguished speakers and panellists, as well as to Energie Steiermark for the partnership and the wonderful setting for this forward-looking dialogue. We are also pleased to have the Club of Rome – Austrian Chapter on board as a partner, which stands for greater defossilization and new carbon cycles.
